Snow Emergency
Once the snow begins to fall, city plow drivers will begin clearing main roads and continue plowing into the evening. A snowfall of 2 inches or more triggers a snow emergency – which includes a citywide full plow call out and associated parking restrictions. Full city snow removal will begin at midnight tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Plymouth. Thank you for your patience and please drive carefully.

Safety Reminder: Keep Children Away from Streets & Plows
City of Plymouth snow plow drivers have noticed a variety of snow forts right at the edge of the road and in cul-de-sacs. For the safety of all, please do not let children use these snow piles for forts or snow tunnels.
Snow banks make it difficult for plow drivers to see children playing in the snow. The force and weight of snow coming off the plows can collapse the tunnels or forts and harm children. As more snow accumulates, plow drivers may need to push the piles back even further into the boulevards and cul-de-sacs.

Please keep children away from the road. If a plow is on the street, children should stay back at least 20 feet or more until the plow has passed.
