Sunset Hill Student Is State Semi-Finalist
A fourth grader at Sunset Hill Elementary School in Plymouth finished as a semi-finalist in the MN National Geographic Bee.

According to the Wayzata School District website:
Arul Belhe, a fourth grade student at , was named a Minnesota National Geographic Bee semi-finalist by the National Geographic Society.
Bees were held in schools with fourth through eighth grade students throughout the state to determine each school’s Bee winner. School-level winners then took a qualifying test, which they submitted to the National Geographic Society.

The top 100 scoring students in each state, as well as the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Dependents Schools and the U.S. territories, are invited to compete at the state level.
The 2012 Minnesota National Geographic Bee is Friday, March 30, at St. Cloud State University.
