TONIGHT: Wayzata School Board Organizational Meeting

New Wayzata School Board member Cheryl Polzin will give the oath of office at the Jan. 9 regular School Board meeting at Wayzata City Hall.

The meeting includes the annual organizational agenda items that usually come before the board at its first meeting of each New Year.

Items include approving the official cash depositories, investment brokers, board appointment and offices for the year, standard operating procedure for the board and more.

Also on the agenda is a second reading for a number of board policies and approval of the .

District staff will make a presentation on finding ways to sustain health and wellness programs for students and staff in the district with no Statewide Health Initiative Program grant or funds for 2012.
