Two Robbinsdale Area Schools Are Recognized

Armstrong High School and Meadow Lake Elementary were recognized for reading research.

Two Robbinsdale Area Schools will be among 130 schools statewide that are recognized by the Minnesota Center for Reading Research at the University of Minnesota on February 29, 2012.

in Plymouth and Meadow Lake Elementary School in New Hope are being honored for their success in meeting Academic Yearly Progress  (AYP) in reading.

Staff from both buildings, including principals David Dahl and Kim Hiel, will be on hand to celebrate the hard work of students, teachers and administrators.

The U of M Center for Reading Research is honoring these schools that, after missing AYP in reading, have successfully made AYP in reading for the past two years.
