VIDEO: First-time Caucus Goers Want To Get Involved

Fresh out of college, Holly and Jacob Higgins of Plymouth have student loans to pay off.

But the job market hasn't been the best lately and they want to see the economy improve too.

That's why they came out Feb. 7 to the District 45 Republican party caucus event at Robbinsdale Cooper High School.

District 45 includes Robbinsdale, most of Crystal, New Hope, three precincts in Plymouth and three precincts in Golden Valley.

Classrooms were filled with first-time caucus goers and those who have been involved with local politics for a long time.

In this video, the Higgins talk about why they support Mitt Romney as a presidential candidate and why they decided to go to caucus night.
