Video: Plymouth's Popular Drop-Off Day Set for Saturday

Event provides an opportunity for residents to dispose of old, used or unwanted items.

Grab that old microwave, unused bag of cement or the car seat the baby outgrew and pack it in the car! The 2013 Drop-Off Day will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 4, at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility (14900 23rd Ave. North).

Drop-Off Day is open to all Plymouth residents with proof of residency, and the event provides an opportunity for residents to dispose of old, used or unwanted items. There will be a fee to dispose of some items. Others will be accepted for free.

Residents will be asked to remain in their vehicles, in a line, and should enter the facility on 23rd Avenue from Fernbrook Lane. The gates will close at 2 p.m. to all vehicles not in line.

The yard waste site and recycling drop-off site will remain closed during the event. Both sites will open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.

Cash, credit cards or checks written out to City of Plymouth will be accepted. Click here for more details or to view a full list of accepted items for Drop-Off Day. For more information, call 763-509-5906 or email recycling@plymouthmn.gov
