RICHFIELD, MN— The Twin Cities metro area rental market is red hot. That means finding an apartment in Richfield that fits your budget is harder than ever, especially when trying to get the most space for your money.
RENTCafe, a blog that studies rentals in each state, conducted a study to analyze how much space can be rented on average in 38 cities in Minnesota. The data was analyzed by Yardi Matrix, a company that researches and reports on large-scale multifamily properties.
In Richfield, residents on average can rent apartments of 909 square feet for $1,400 of monthly rent, according to the study.

The city that has the most space for $1,400 is St. Cloud, where you'll get 1,446 square feet, the site said.
The city that has the least space for $1,400 is Minneapolis, where all you can get for that much is 709 square feet, the site said.
