Kirby Puckett's Former Twin Cities Home: Look

The Minnesota Twins legend purchased the home for $375,000 in 1990. In 2017, it sold for a lot more.

EDINA, MN – In 2017, the former Edina home of a late Minnesota Twins legend sold for $1,567,500. Kirby Puckett, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001, purchased this house in 1990 for $375,000, according to realtor.com.

The mansion sits on an acre of land and features four fireplaces, an exercise room, tennis court, swimming pool, wet bar, sunroom, deck, patio, and a billiard room.

Puckett led the Twins to World Series titles in 1987 and 1991. He died in 2006 at 45 from a stroke. A statue of him now stands at the gates of Target Field. It depicts Puckett pumping his fist while running the bases, as he did after his home run in game six of the 1991 World Series.
