21-Year-Old Fatally Jumped From Hamline Avenue Bridge: Police

ROSEVILLE, MN — One man died Wednesday after jumping from Hamline Avenue onto Highway 36, authorities said. The Minnesota State Patrol was responding to reports of a man party standing on the bridge when several 911 calls came saying the man had jumped.

Investigators later determined the 21-year-old was struck by a Honda Accord after jumping from the bridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
