A Retail Site in Transition at Former Don Pablo's

The parking lot ts getting torn up in preparation for a new business moving in.

A parking lot that once served the Don Pablo's restaurant in Roseville is getting torn up as the site is being prepared for a new Walgreens drug store.

In a previous Patch report, a Roseville city official said Walgreens plans to relocate its drugstore at 1611 County Road C W (near the Byerly's supermarket) to the Don Pablo's site, 2700 Lincoln Drive. The Mexican eatery closed in early February.

The drugstore company has applied for a building permit to knock down the Don Pablo's building and replace it with a new 14,800 square-foot Walgreens that would include a drive-through pharmacy, said Pat Trudgeon, Roseville city community development director.
