Suspect in Five Bank Robberies Arrested in Roseville

Suspect arrested without incident, FBI says.

The FBI is reporting that law enforcement agencies have arrested a 23-year-old woman in Roseville on Monday in possible connection with five bank robberies. 

In a press release issued today (Wednesday) FBI Special Agent in Charge J. Christopher Warrener announced  the arrest of Rayan Hamad Al-Huthaili. 

"Al-Huthaili was arrested without incident at about 8:30 p.m. Monday in Roseville" by FBI special agents and officers of the Roseville Police Department, the FBI said.  The FBI and police arrested her at Rosedale Center, according to FBI spokesman Kyle Loven.

The FBI said Al-Huthaili was arrested in connection with the following bank robberies:

  •   Klein Bank, 210 Paul Avenue North, Cologne, MN (Aug. 15, 2013)
  •   First State Bank of Wyoming, 6115 Stacy Trail, Stacy, MN (Aug. 22, 2013).
  •  TCF Bank, 1186 West Broadway, Forest Lake, MN (Sept. 1, 2013)
  •  First State Bank & Trust,  219 Second Street, Hudson, WIs. (Sept. 5, 23013).
  • Dairy State Bank , 605 Second Street East, Menomonie, Wis. (Sept. 9, 2013.)

Warrener said, "The arrest was the culmination of a joint effort between local law enforcement agencies and the FBI.”

The following agencies worked jointly on the investigation:  Carver County Sheriff’s Office; Chisago County Sheriff’s Office; Forest Lake Police Department; Hudson, Wisconsin Police Department; Menomonie, Wisconsin Police Department; Metro Regional Information Collaboration Group; Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office; Roseville Police Department; and the FBI.

Al-Huthaili is considered to be innocent of these crimes until or unless she is proven guilty in a court of law.
