Update: Now It's Just a Pile of Rubble

But ground-breaking for new retail business expected in April, replacing the once well-known restaurant.

A once well-known Roseville restaurant is now a just a pile of rubble.

Construction crews on Monday finished demolishing the former Don Pablo's Mexican eatery. That move is clearing the way for Walgreens  to relocate its drugstore at 1611 County Road C W (near the Byerly's supermarket) to the Don Pablo's site, 2700 Lincoln Drive.

The Mexican eatery closed in early February. Walgreens is planning to build a 14,800 square-foot drugstore that would include a drive-through pharmacy, according to  Pat Trudgeon, Roseville city community development director.
