Night to Unite Parties Tuesday in Roseville

The city of Roseville will hold its annual Night to Unite celebration on Tuesday (Aug. 6) with upwards of 100 or more block parties expected to be held.
"It’s a time for block captains and neighbors to gather and get to know one another, play games, enjoy grilled favorites and show support for crime prevention and community safety," city officials said in a news update. "It’s also a great chance to see old friends and welcome new neighbors to your block."

Preceding Night to Unite is Family Night Out which is  today (Monday, Aug. 5); it's the city's thankyou to residents and visitors for their support of the police and fire departments. This event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Central Park, which located on Lexington Avenue just south of County Road C.

The festivities include crime prevention and fire safety tips from police officers and firefighters, a Police K-9 demonstration, magic show, face painting, petting zoo and public safety vehicle tours.
