An official proclamation was issued at the Nov. 3 board meeting, demonstrating Ramsey County's commitment to the nurturing and education of children. This year marks the 43rd year of Ramsey County recognizing child care providers and their important work.

Licensed family child care providers play a key role in supporting other essential industries during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly 400 licensed family child care providers provide safe and healthy environments that foster the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of 4,000 children in Ramsey County.
