Roseville Area Schools Foundation Disburses Nearly $50,000 in Grants
The Foundation is preparing for its third annual festival fundraiser, which will be held in April at HarMar Mall.

The Roseville Area Schools Foundation recently completed its yearly award of grants for innovative learning programs and technology in Roseville District 623 schools.  Nearly $50,000 in grants were awarded and funds were earmarked for, among other things, for pilot classroom projects using iPads to enhance student engagement and learning. Other awards included:
- Stand-up desks to help improve student focus.
- Funds to develop a student-produced bully prevention drama.
- 3D prototype printer for high school engineering curriculum.
The Foundation funded all or part of 30 proposals across the district, impacting hundreds of students.

The Foundation also is preparing for its third annual Foundation Festival on Saturday, April 13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at HarMar Mall.Â
The Festival celebrates the talents of the community’s students, with performances from music groups of all ages, while raising funds for the Foundation’s work.Â

Families attending the Festival will be able to enjoy a variety of food donated by area restaurants, and play games for all ages.Â
The Festival also holds a silent auction with a wide array of items, including sports and concert tickets, jewelry, and items and services from community businesses. Tickets are $10 per person and $20 for a family, and are available on the Foundation’s website at www.rosevilleareaschoolsfoundation.org.
The Roseville Area Schools Foundation enhances educational opportunities in District 623 by generating and allocating funds to support educational programs that enrich learning.
