Dense Fog Covers Minnesota Sunday

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Sunday. Visibility will be down to a quarter mile or less. The significantly reduced visibilities will lead to difficult driving, and condensation from the fog will freeze on paved surfaces such as roadways, bridges, and overpasses, creating slick conditions.

Dense fog will expand overnight and will persist into the middle of Sunday morning.

Officials recommend drivers slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
