SAINT PAUL, MN — A mix of snow and rain across the state this week may affect your Thanksgiving travel plans. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for western and central Minnesota, as well as parts of western Wisconsin.

Affected counties include Douglas, Todd, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Stevens, Pope, Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Isanti, Chisago, Lacc Qui Parle, Swift, Chippewa, Andiyohi, Meeker, Wright, Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Washington, Yellow Medicine, Renville, Mcleod, Sibley, Carver, Scott, Dakota, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Goodhue, Watonwan, Blue Earth, Waseca, Steele, Martin, Faribault, Freeborn, Polk, Barron, Rusk, St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, Pepin, Eau Claire.

Monday

Expect a mix of snow and rain from western to central Minnesota Monday evening. Roads could become slick later tonight.

Tuesday - Sunday

Snow accumulations from 2 to 5 inches are looking more likely across much of central Minnesota into western Wisconsin Tuesday into Wednesday, especially in areas from Redwood Falls to the Twin Cities.

Mixed precipitation is most likely across southern Minnesota.

Thanksgiving Thursday

Cloudy, with a high near 36. West/northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning. A 20 percent chance of snow in the Twin Cities Thursday night, with a low around 28.
