Minnesota Connections Academy Students Volunteer To Help Others

April is National Volunteer Month! Students and family members came together to make a difference for kids and seniors and had a great time!

April is National Volunteer Month! With that, we celebrate Minnesota Connections Academy students and their family members for volunteering this year to make a difference in the lives of hospitalized kids and senior citizens in Minnesota and beyond.

Organized by the school's National Honor Society and Junior National Honor Society students, the school held a service project field trip in which families made cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids, an internationally recognized charitable organization that distributes uplifting, handmade cards to kids across America. Cards made by Minnesota Connections Academy were distributed to hospitals throughout the Midwest.

The group of Minnesota Connections Academy families also made tied blankets for Gillette's Children's hospital and made cards for a local nursing home.

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is underway. To learn more about online public school and Minnesota Connections Academy, visit here.
