Minnesota State Trooper Rescues Injured Bald Eagle
The Minnesota State Patrol have had a lot of close encounters with eagles this year.

The Minnesota State Patrol say they have had a lot of close encounters with eagles this year. The most recent incident occurred Dec. 11 near Hanover in Wright County.
The University of Minnesota Raptor Center had a report of an injured bald eagle and asked if a trooper could confirm the report before they responded.
Trooper Dan Beasley located the eagle and captured it with a blanket. The Raptor Center arrived and took the in eagle for medical treatment.

The Raptor Center says it rehabilitates around 800 sick and injured raptors each year, while helping to identify emerging environmental issues related to raptor health and populations.
