Heavy snowstorms wreaked havoc on Minnesota roads this weekend. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that between 9 a.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday, state highways saw 882 crashes (92 injury, 0 fatal or serious) and 409 vehicle spin outs.

Spin-outs and accidents began to cause traffic slow-downs Saturday afternoon and continued through Sunday.

More light snow is possible Monday as an Arctic cold front moves through the area. The National Weather Forecasts predicts a very cold week, with what is shaping up to be a possibly snowy finish.
