A New Restaurant Will Open In St. Paul’s Keg and Case

Brian and Sarah Ingram will open their wood-fired cantina "Elotes" later this summer.

SAINT PAUL, MN — Brian and Sarah Ingram will bring wood-fired cantina Elotes, another "purpose-driven" restaurant to St. Paul’s Keg and Case by late summer. Like their other restaurants — Hope Breakfast Bar and The Gnome — Elotes will give back to the community via their non-profit Give Hope, where a minimum 3 percent of proceeds will go to charitable causes.

After spending time earlier in his career in Southern California and Mexico, Brian has wanted to bring his take on Mexican street food to St. Paul. Using a 20-foot wood-burning hearth, the menu will feature wood-fired meats, fish and vegetables and include wet tacos, lava rock bowls, tin-can nachos, and fresh ceviche.

Specialty drinks will include craft cantina cocktails.

"St. Paul is our home and so special to us," Brian Ingram said in a news release. "Sarah and I are so grateful for the opportunity to bring another of our concepts to this city and to the impressive space at Keg and Case so that we can continue our work in serving the community by creating jobs, building spaces to gather and eat quality food, and give back to those that need assistance."

Chef Justin Sutherland will serve as Director of Culinary for Elotes as he does for The Gnome, working with Brian to oversee food and menu quality.
