How To Stream St. Patrick's Day "Mask-arade" In Saint Paul
The "reverse parade" will be streamed virtually on social media.
SAINT PAUL, MN — Play it safe this Saint Patrick's Day by virtually attending the City of Saint Paul's "Mask-arade" event.
In a news release, Visit Saint Paul said tickets to attend the parade in-person were sold out as of Wednesday. Still, the event will be livestreamed on social media starting at noon.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the city will host a "reverse parade" in which attendees will drive through a predetermined route to see stationary exhibits including Miss Shamrock and Mr. Pat, Irish dignitaries, grand marshals, parade sponsors, Irish dancers, bagpipers and more.

"The Saint Patrick’s Association has been sponsoring the parade since 1967 — and while the parade isn't the same this year, they are excited to offer a fun alternative to celebrate St. Patrick's Day," Visit Saint Paul's website states.
This year, the Saint Patrick's Association is also selling commemorative buttons to raise money for the parade and for other local charities. Each button comes with entry into a drawing to win $1,500.
