SAINT PAUL, MN — The Saint Paul Police Department announced Friday that one of its investigators has identified a suspect in the Jan. 24 burglary of the Gnome Craft Pub, which is located on the 400 block of Selby Avenue.

The investigator issued a “pick-up,” which was sent to neighboring law enforcement agencies.

Thursday around 11:45 a.m., police said Earl Robert York, 57, who has no known address, was found in a vehicle parked in front of a house on the 100 block of Acker Street East and arrested by Ramsey County deputies.

He was then transported to the Ramsey County jail, where an investigator interviewed him before she formally booked him into the detention center.

“I’m incredibly proud of the exceptional work our investigator did on this case," Saint Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell said. "She was relentless, diligent and thorough. And once she identified the suspect, she quickly connected with our law enforcement partners, including the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, whose deputies were able to make an arrest."
