Saint Paul Public Schools And Minnesota Department Of Health Partner To Offer Coronavirus Testing For Students In Grades 6-12
Testing is optional, but encouraged for all secondary students, and will be offered every two weeks.

Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are partnering to provide free COVID-19 saliva tests for students in grades 6-12. The first opportunity for students to pick up a COVID-19 saliva test at their school will be Monday, May 24.

Testing is optional, but encouraged for all secondary students, and will be offered every two weeks.
Students in grades 6-12 can pick up a test kit from school on Mondays and return them to school on Tuesdays. The test kits will include instructions for conducting the test at home as well as instructions on where students should pick up and drop off the saliva test kits at school.

Please tell your 6-12 grade student to talk with staff in the main school office if you want them to pick up a kit. There is no written or verbal permission needed. Instructions about how to take a saliva test will be included with the test kit. Do not send students to school if they are sick.
