Man Killed In Saint Paul Shooting Identified: Police

The shooting occurred at the St. Paul Saloon and left one man dead, with the other victim in stable condition.

SAINT PAUL, MN—One person was killed and another injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Woodbury, the City of Saint Paul released later that night.

Police were called to a bar at the St. Paul Saloon on Hudson Road, where they found a man and woman had both been shot shortly after 8 p.m., the report said. Officials released the location of the shooting on the Saint Paul Police Department’s Twitter page.

Both victims were taken to Regions Hospital, where the woman is in stable condition. The man died from his wounds, the report said.

The man was later identified by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner as Raymond Renteria Hobbs, 20 of Saint Paul.

According to officials, the Saint Paul Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently looking for potential witnesses. The Forensic Services Unit is collecting evidence from the scene, and the Video Management Unit is looking for surveillance from that night.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, which marks the seventh shooting in Saint Paul this year, the release said.
