Saint Paul Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured
A man and a woman were shot at an East Side bar. The man has died and the woman is in stable condition.
SAINT PAUL, MN —A shooting at an East Side bar left one person dead and another wounded Tuesday night, according to the Saint Paul Police Department. The victims, a man and a woman, were taken to Regions Hospital, where the man later died. The woman is in stable condition.
The SPPD have not identified the victims. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to positively identify the deceased and determine the exact cause of death.
No arrests have been made.
According to reports, SPPD officers were called to the scene, in the 1000 block of Hudson Road, at around about 8 p.m., where they found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers and Saint Paul Fire Department medics initially treated the victims at the scene.

The SPPD's Homicide Unit currently is looking for possible witnesses and the Forensic Services Unit has been collecting evidence at the scene. Additionally, the department's Video Management Unit is looking for any surveillance video that might help identify who pulled the trigger. Anyone with information is asked to call 651-266-5650.
This is Saint Paul's seventh homicide of 2021.

On Sunday, the SPPD found a body in the North End neighborhood and later determined the incident was the city's seventh homicide of the year. However, further investigation revealed the victim had been assaulted in Brooklyn Park, and that city's police department took the lead in the investigation.
