Steven C Performs Livestream Concert on Friday, April 23 at 7:30

Renowned Pianist Will Play Selections From New "Yacht Rock Piano" Albums, Released Today on Time Life

Just in time for the laid-back summer days that yacht rock was made for, acclaimed St. Paul pianist Steven C will celebrate the release of four new "Yacht Rock Piano" albums (Time Life) with a livestream concert at Bone Lake on April 23 at 7:30 p.m. CDT. Additional information can be found on his Facebook page HERE or his website HERE.

Steven will perform selections of the dreamy, feel-good music of the ‘70s and ‘80s he recorded for the four albums full of nostalgic bliss. Each features hit songs interpreted and reimagined by the classically trained musician and are available on all major streaming platforms on April 23 via Time Life, including “Yacht Rock Piano: Sailing (Volume 1),” “You Make My Dreams (Volume 2),” “What a Fool Believes (Volume 3)” and “Cool Change (Volume 4).”

An unassuming artist whose work has been heard by countless millions of people around the world, Steven C has sold over two million albums, his performance of “Daybreak” has been streamed over 16 million times and his songs have been featured on The Today Show, Oprah and The Discovery Channel. He’s created and produced music for the award-winning Baby Genius series, recorded with the London Symphony Strings, performed with Mannheim Steamroller and worked with GRAMMY Award-winning arranger and conductor Arnie Roth (Andrea Bocelli, Charlotte Church). Steven was also the executive producer behind Target’s highly successful music and nature sound series. He even played keyboards at Minnesota Timberwolves games for seven years.

Inspired during a very yacht-rock kind of afternoon spent on picturesque Bone Lake in Luck, Wisconsin, Steven set out to create the perfect soundtrack to match the day’s breezy, romantic vibe and didn’t stop until he recorded 100 songs. The collection includes instrumental versions of iconic FM radio hits by Ambrosia, Christopher Cross, Pablo Cruise, Little River Band and more, recorded and produced by Steven C with Tommy Barbarella (Prince and The New Power Generation) working on many of the backing tracks.
