Traffic Alert: Up to an Inch of Snow Will Hit Twin Cities During Rush Hour

Your drive home Monday evening might be a little longer than usual. A band of snow will move through the Twin Cities during the afternoon and early evening hours, likely impacting commute times.

The snow is associated with the passage of an Arctic cold front. The National Weather Service forecasts that snow accumulation will be up to an inch, mainly before 7 p.m.

Expect a low around 3 below zero in the Twin Cities Monday night, with wind chill values as low as 17 below.
