Twin Cities Media Shake-Up: Brian Oake 'No Longer A Host' At MPR
Brian Oake had worked at The Current since March 2016.
SAINT PAUL — Brian Oake, a well known personality in the Twin Cities radio scene, is "no longer a host" for Minnesota Public Radio's music station, "The Current." Oake co-hosted "Oake and Riley in the Morning" with Jill Riley.
MPR broke the news Friday evening.
Oake had worked at The Current since March 2016. Previously, he hosted a show for "Cities 97." Both Oake and Riley’s Twitter accounts have been suspended, though it's not clear why.

MPR has not revealed wether he was fired or if he left the station on his own.
