Twin Cities Weather: Arctic Cold Front Moves In

A heavy snowstorm will come to an end across the Twin Cities Sunday, with most locations seeing things taper off to flurries. Some light snow is possible Monday as an Arctic cold front moves through the area.

There are indications that another storm could bring accumulating snow to the region at the end of the week, but it is too soon to have confidence in the forecast details for that system, according to the National Weather Service.

A 20 percent chance of snow after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 13. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 2 below zero. Wind chill values as low as 14 below zero. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 7. West southwest wind around 10 mph.
