Vadnais Heights Sports Dome Collapses Under Historic Snowfall
Ramsey County officials are working to determine a timeline for repair.

VADNAIS HEIGHTS, MN — It's not the Metrodome, but the historic April snowfall over the weekend caused the sports dome at the Vadnais Sports Center to collapse. No one was inside the dome at the time and no one was injured when the dome fell, according to authorities.
An employee on site at the time of collapse confirmed air handling units were working properly and did not cause the collapse. A full damage assessment will be performed as weather conditions allow.
County officials are working to determine a timeline for repair.
