“I’m so honored and excited to join Minnesota Public Radio,” Davis said.

“Many of our communities in Minnesota are dealing with difficult problems at a time when lack of understanding is causing fear, anger and division. MPR News does an excellent job of sharing different viewpoints and creating a safe space for people to ask questions, voice opinions and learn. I’m looking forward to hosting a talk show that explores the issues that keep many of us awake at night, as well as topics that bring joy, laughter and hope.

“We are lucky to have some of the finest journalists in the country right here in this region, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them at WCCO, and now I can’t wait to get started on this new journey at MPR News. I appreciate everyone who has watched me on local television news in the Twin Cities over the last two decades. Now I invite them to listen.”
