4 Public Hearings Scheduled In Shakopee For June 15

Four public hearings have been scheduled for the June 15 City Council meeting. Hearings will be held to consider:

• Proposed street name change from 20th Avenue East to Brookview Street. The purpose of the name change is to follow the City of Shakopee street grid/addressing convention that numbered avenues are East-West running roadways.
• Vacation of public drainage and utility easement as dedicated within Lot 34, Block 2, Ridge View Estates. The property owner plans to construct a detached accessory structure on his property located at 1850 Bass Circle that is encumbered by a public drainage and utility.
• Vacation of public right-of-way in DCCO 1st Addition. The City of Shakopee is proposing to vacate a portion of public right-of-way to clear up a title issue within an area of the southern parking lot.
• Vacation of drainage and utility easement in Jackson View Addition. Link Construction applied for the vacation of certain drainage and utility easements within the proposed plat Jefferson Court.
