City Of Shakopee Publishes After City Council Report

City Clerk Lori Hensen noted just over half of Shakopee ballots were cast by absentee ballot.

The Shakopee City Council met Thursday, Nov. 12 to canvass municipal election results. The City Council accepted the 2020 municipal election results and directed the City Clerk to certify the results to the Scott County Auditor. The final election results by precinct are available on the Minnesota Secretary of State website at www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/election-results.

City Clerk Lori Hensen noted just over half of Shakopee ballots were cast by absentee ballot. The city also saw a high number of new voters register on Election Day and while voting absentee. Overall, the city had a 92.32 percent voter turnout, according to the Scott County Elections Office.
