No Open Burning Permits for Shakopee, Scott County

In the updated burning restrictions, recreational fires are allowed with certain conditions.

From the Shakopee Fire Department: Shakopee, along with the rest of Scott County, has now been included in updated burning restrictions.

No permits for open burning will be issued until the restrictions are removed.

Recreational fires are still allowed. Recreational fires must be contained in a fire ring or portable fire pit and only clean wood can be burned.

Yard and garden waste, trash or garbage cannot be burned.
