'Pumpkins in the Park' Set for Saturday

Pumpkins in the Park 2013 is just around the corner.

This Saturday, kids are invited to enjoy this "family friendly, non-scary" Halloween celebration aimed at children ages 10 and under. 

This year, there will be a trick or treat trail, inflatable jumpies, games, beverage and cookie station, and face painting, among other things. Each child will also be given to take home a pumpkin.  

The party will be at Veteran's Memorial Park (1801 East County Road 101), on Oct. 12, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 a child. Adults get in free.
