Recycle Your Christmas Tree For Free In Shakopee

Community members are invited to dispose of their Christmas tree free of charge Dec. 26 through Jan. 31 at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community's Organics Recycling Facility, 1905 Mystic Lake Drive S., Shakopee.

Drop off your tree between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Organics Recycling Facility is closed New Year's Eve (Dec. 31), New Year's Day (Jan. 1) and Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 20).

Tree must be free of all non-compostable decorations, including tinsel and flocking.
