Scott Co. Historical Society Livens Up Annual Meeting with Minnesota Mob Lore
This year's meeting will feature Neal Karlen, author of "Augie's Secrets: The Minneapolis Mob and the King of the Hennepin Strip."

Shakopee history buffs are invited to the Scott County Historical Society's annual meeting, which will include a talk by Minneapolis journalist and author Neal Karlen, author of a new book about Minneapolis gangster Augie Ratner, “the King of the Hennepin Strip.”

Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Stans Museum
Cost: FREE for SCHS members, $4/adults, $2/students
- Open house at 6:00 pm.
- Business meeting begins at 6:30 pm.
- At 7:00pm, author Neal Karlen will discuss his book, Augie’s Secrets: The Minneapolis Mob and the King of the Hennepin Strip.
