Eight single-family lots coming to Jefferson Court
The City Council approved a final plat of Jefferson Court on 2.48 acres at 1025 Jefferson St. Link Construction plans to construct the eight-lot, single-family home subdivision located on the vacant property adjacent to New Creation Church. City to advertise for bids to demolish two homes as part of Sweeney Marina project
The City Council approved seeking bids for the demolition of two homes located on the Sweeney Marina property. The city acquired the properties in 2019 to develop a riverfront marina park area near Huber Park. The Schroeder House and an original brick out building will remain on the site. City purchases additional pumps for lift station
The City Council authorized the purchase of two replacement pumps for Lift Station No. 16 from Minnesota Pump Works in the amount of $93,152.75. The pumps replace two aging pumps at the lift station in advance of the L-16 Rehabilitation Project. A third pump was replaced in 2020 after it failed. SCALE representatives present a countywide housing blueprint
The City Council listened to a presentation by SCALE’s Live, Learn, Earn Unified Housing Plan. The blueprint provides guidance on strategies that address housing issues to meet countywide goals to ensure a diverse range of housing options.
