For more than 50 years, SandVenture Aquatic Park has been a summer destination for residents and visitors to cool off and dive into fun. Now, it’s your chance to make the outdoor aquatic park even better.

The community is invited to share ideas for future improvements to SandVenture using our new interactive engagement tool. Want to see more play structures? Have an idea for improving our changing facilities? Would you like to be able to grab lunch to make a day of it at the park?

Post your ideas on our online idea wall or make suggestions for overall Lions Park improvements on our map. You can also take surveys to help us narrow down the amenities the community would most like to see.

A virtual open house regarding future SandVenture improvements will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. Log in information is available at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/sandventuresurvey. Ask park planners questions about potential park improvements and offer feedback on how you use SandVenture.
