Take Shakopee's Quarry Lake Park Improvements Survey

Quarry Lake Park is a popular place for those who love water-based activities. A home for the Shakopee-Prior Lake Shockwaves Water Ski team, trout fishermen, canoers and kayakers, the lake and its adjacent park are a frequented amenity.

With all this activity, there is room to make improvements to improve accessibility and add new activities, such a multi-mile mountain bike trail. Potential park improvements could include:

• Three-mile mountain bike course (approved in 2020)
• Ski club boat launch
• Added new amenities such as kayak/canoe access, picnic tables and grills and a playground

Concept plans for improvements at Quarry Lake Park are now available, and staff is looking for resident feedback on which new amenities should be included at the park.
