Throughout the week, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management highlights the various types of severe weather that affect our state. On Thursday, April 16, counties and cities throughout the state will participate in tornado drills at 1:45 and 6:55 p.m. These drills provide opportunities for schools, businesses and individuals to practice what they should do during a tornado.
