Collinwood Park Paving In Wright County

The paving project at Collinwood Park started today (June 2nd).

What is occurring crews from Knife River will be milling and reclaiming the existing bituminous surface of the entrance road, shaping the aggregate surfaces which includes the water access parking area, roadway to the trailhead and new campground loop; paving of all these surfaces will also occur once preparation is complete. new layers of bituminous mixture; placement of shouldering material along the edges of the roadway; and painting new pavement markings.

All work on this contract is anticipated to be completed within two weeks, workdays are Monday 7:00 a.m. to Friday at noon.

Vehicles accessing the park maybe be directed by flag people near and through the work zone, and access should only be slightly hindered.
