Department Of Housing Preparing To Launch RentHelpMN Program In Wright County
The 2nd phase will open up the program to all who qualify. No specific launch date has yet been announced, but is expected to be in April.

The Minnesota Department of Housing is preparing to launch its RentHelpMN for tenants and landlords who have experienced hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic and need assistance paying rent or utility bills.

Eligible Minnesota renters can receive help with rent and utility bills dated March 13, 2020 or later. Those who qualify are eligible to receive up to 15 months of total assistance. When RentHelpMN opens, it will initially assist renters who owe back rent. The second phase will open up the program to all who qualify. No specific launch date has yet been announced, but it is expected to be in April.
