Wright County Health & Human Services would like to thank several community businesses for donating incentives for students currently struggling with school attendance and engaging in learning. This is for students of all ages who are in-person or distance learning. This year, with COVID-19, Wright County Health & Human Services has had at least three times more referrals for educational neglect and truancy than the average school year – and the school year isn’t over yet. Students have been very grateful for the incentives they received after a demonstration of improved attendance or increased engagement in learning.
Wright County HHS would like to send a huge “thank you” to the businesses that participated – Buffalo Culver’s, Powder Ridge, Emagine Theatre in Delano, Target in Rogers and Millennium Dance Company in Albertville
