Highway Department Preparing For Weekend Snowfall In Wright County
Currently the storm is projected to drop three to four inches of snow in Wright County beginning approximately 2 p.m.

Another round of snow is expected Saturday in much of Minnesota and the Wright County Highway Department is already out on the roads laying down de-icing brine before the storm arrives.

Currently the storm is projected to drop three to four inches of snow in Wright County beginning approximately 2 p.m. Saturday and continuing until early Sunday morning – the storm is expected to pass through by 6 a.m. Sunday.
Wright County Highway Maintenance Supervisor Steve Meyer said motorists should be on the lookout for Highway Department vehicles. They have already been dispatched to pre-treat roads and will continue to do so until approximately 9 p.m. tonight. The primary cleanup crew will be on the roads early Sunday morning to get roads cleared prior to traffic starting to grow Sunday morning.
