Lucky Pets Hosts Shot Clinic Event on Saturday, May 7

On Saturday, May 7th, dozens of dog owners from around the St. Michael area will be bringing their precious pooches to a special shot clinic hosted by Lucky Pets, the local pet boarding, grooming, and retail destination. In partnership with Midwest Animal Rescue & Services (MARS), the Lucky Pets team hopes that this now annual event will serve an even wider audience this year.

“For the last several years, we’ve hosted this event and it seems to get bigger every year,” explained Jason DeSantis, Services Manager at Lucky Pets. “In past years, almost 200 dogs were brought in for vaccinations and we’re hoping that this year we can serve even more.”

The Lucky Pets team sees this annual shot clinic as a way to promote healthy pet care while offering the community an opportunity to save money on pet vaccinations. With Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines being offered at $15 per injection along with additional services like Microchips and a 4DX Snap Test offered at $25 and $35 respectively, the team is well on their way toward accomplishing their goals.

“Our partnership with MARS allows us to keep costs low for this event,” explained DeSantis. “The feedback from past clinics has been tremendously positive…we’re gearing up for another great event with our customers and the community.”

Prize Raffle

In addition to vaccinations, this year’s clinic participants will have the opportunity to go on a site-wide adventure with their own Lucky Pets PAWSPORT, visiting each department from boarding to grooming to daycare to retail shop, collecting stamps for entry into a Grand Prize Raffle to be held at the end of the event.
