March 1 is the most active day of the year in the Wright County Parks & Recreation Department.
February 19, 2021
March 1 is the most active day of the year in the Wright County Parks & Recreation Department. It is the annual opening of reservations for campsites in Wright County parks and most of the available spots fill up quickly. When the reservation portal of the Parks & Rec website will open at 8 a.m. Monday, March 1, the opening bell will go off and available campsites will start flying off the board.

Parks & Rec wants to get the word out to those looking to reserve campsites when the reservation period begins that it has a new registration software installed earlier this year that will render the old reservation policy moot. As a result, even those who have reserved the same campsites on the same weekends for years will have to create a new registration profile. There will likely be some who will be unaware of or struggle with the new system, so Parks & Rec has created a walk-through of the process, which is useful because anyone can fill out their profile now and be ready to go when 8 a.m. March 1 comes.
