Plan a great night at The St. Michael Lions annual Bierstube
Family friendly early, 21+ after 8. Great polkas, waltzes and plenty of German-style fun!
The St. Michael Lions are holding their annual Bierstube Saturday, July 18th at the St. Michael parish school parking lot, and everyone is invited. There will be live music from 4-11 p,m,, a free will offering German dinner from 5 until gone with specially made bierstube sausage, saurkraut and German potato salad. Beer and water will be available throughout the day.
Live German music from 5-11 p.m. Dale Dahmen Band from 4-7 and Jolly Huntsmen Band from 8-11. Great polkas, waltzes and plenty of German-style fun! This promises to be a great family event during the afternoon and early evening, switching to a 21 and over get-together in the evening.
$25 Bottomless beverages mugs are available, complete with a souvenir beer mug. A variety of wine, beer and soft drinks will be available. And sober cabs will be available for a safe trip home.
Raffle tickets will be on sale for a chance to win a $1,000 travel voucher from the St. Michael Lions and Pineapple Travel, along with other gift cards. The drawing for this will be August 15th at St. Michael Daze & Knights.
The St. Michael Bierstube was an annual celebration in St. Michael for 28 years (1965-1993) put on by the St. Michael Lions Club. It was brought back last year to help celebrate the Lions 50th anniversary, It highlighted the German heritage associated with St. Michael.
