Rogers Business Owner, Veteran to Receive Veterans' Voices Award

From nominations, 25 veterans have just been chosen to receive honors at the Minnesota Humanities Center's 25 Veterans' Voices Award Ceremony on September 11, 2013, including Rogers business owner Ryan Erickson. 

After Erickson was honorably discharged from the USMC in 2007, he took majority control in the family construction business - Erickson Builders & Co Inc.  A US Marine Corp veteran, Erickson mentors other veteran business owners, helping them understand how to grow a business while maintaining a life balance. In addition to helping new veterans find jobs, Erickson also works on legislative issues geared toward assisting veterans, according to the Minnesota Humanities Center.

The 25 Veterans' Voices Award Ceremony will be held at the Humanities Center on the east side of St. Paul. 

Public and private sector achievements of 25 Minnesota veterans (listed below) will be recognized during the Veterans’ Voices Award.
